The 6-4-3 Foundation and 6-4-3 DP Baseball are partnering to facilitate a Day of Service for the 6-4-3 players on August 3, 2024. This day will allow the student-athletes and their families to actively volunteer and give back to the community near our City of Marietta baseball home. All 2024 – 2025 6-4-3 players and coaches are encouraged to participate, and some projects will allow additional family members to volunteer. We ask that all participating players register here.
The morning will begin at 8:30 with everyone gathering at Aviation Sports Complex followed by comments and instructions at 9:00. Breakfast will be available. Once the “Philanthropic Teams” are formed, the groups will report to stations at ASC for on-site projects or travel to off-site locations for volunteer service. The morning will wrap up at noon.
Currently, the organizations we have partnered with for this event are: Creating Connected Communities, Marietta City Schools & the Emily Lembeck Early Learning Center, Simple Needs GA, Tillman House, Yellow Rose – Strong Oak Society and the McCleskey East Cobb YMCA. Other organizations will be added as projects are solidified.
Our goal with this effort is to use our love of sports to carry out the mission of The 6-4-3 Foundation – to enhance the lives of children and families in our community. We believe that participation in volunteer projects not only allows our athletes to make a positive impact on others but also helps them learn valuable life lessons beyond the field.
