The 6-4-3 Foundation will actively participate in, and contribute toward, initiatives that serve to better the lives of people and communities in need.
The 6-4-3 Foundation will strive to be an exemplary model of citizenship for youth and their families by investing in our youth, fundraising for worthy causes aligned with our mission, and organizing volunteer opportunities for our youth and their families.
While the academy of 6-4-3 DP Baseball will teach its youth participants the game of baseball, The 6-4-3 Foundation will teach youth (both inside and outside the 6-4-3 program) and their families the rewards of giving to their communities and how much positive difference charitably minded individuals can make.
The 6-4-3 Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the lives of children and families through sports. The foundation has put more than $350,000 back into the communities it serves through scholarship assistance programs and community improvement projects. Each year the foundation awards scholarships and grants to worthy individuals and groups who are aligned with the mission. In addition, countless hours of volunteer service and contributions of product donations have allowed the foundation to serve Cobb County’s most vulnerable youth in meaningful ways. Through these efforts, it strives to teach a culture of philanthropy to families with which it works and to whom it serves. The 6-4-3 Foundation was started in 2013 with the simple goal of doing good deeds for families and children in need.
The 6-4-3 Foundation will endeavor to provide the resources necessary to assure that all student-athletes, regardless of financial capacity, have the same equal access. By doing so, all youth who desire to realize their full potential in sports, and learn the valuable lessons of life through sports activity, will have the ability to realize their goals. By investing in sports, the foundation’s donors and supporters are also helping to ensure the physical and mental health of the community’s youngest members is put in the forefront. The 6-4-3 Foundation will actively participate in, and contribute toward, initiatives that serve to better the lives of the people and the communities in which it resides.
The 6-4-3 Foundation does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin or sexual orientation in its programs or outreach.
