Dear Donors and Supporters,
I want to share with you that I am resigning as the Executive Director of The 6-4-3 Foundation effective June 30, 2026. It has been an honor to work towards enhancing the lives of children and families in our community over these past three years. To me, there is no greater joy than bringing together people through a love of sports to do good things for others.
The foundation was launched in 2013 by several 6-4-3 DP Baseball parents and staff members with the simple goal of giving back to both the game and the community that shaped their young athletes and the culture of the 6-4-3 family. Since 2023, the foundation has grown both in dollars and scope and we are grateful for the support each of you has given The 6-4-3 Foundation. New during this time is the Coaches vs Seniors game, Crushin’ For A Cause Celebrity Home Run Derby and The 6-4-3 Day of Service. You have supported and participated in each of these new events. In addition, we awarded higher scholarship dollars, put money back into Aviation Sports Complex and started a new community initiative through a scholarship at Marietta High School. The hours and resources you have given to the community around us are a testament to the dedication and philanthropical nature of each of you.
I am truly grateful for this opportunity and the support of the board, donors, volunteers and friends of the foundation during my tenure. I wish everyone associated with The 6-4-3 Foundation the best and hope for continued success with its initiatives and partnerships.
Sincerely,
Mary Litman
