The 6-4-3 Family Supports GAABC

April 29, 20240

For the 14th straight season, 6-4-3 DP Baseball players will sport pink jerseys and other pink gear to honor mothers, bring awareness to an issue familiar to many and raise money for research. The initiative, which began in 2011, was the 6-4-3 family’s way to help some of it’s own who were battling breast cancer. Each year, 6-4-3 teams add the pink gear to their uniform rotations and, in the early years, teams from other baseball organizations also participated in raising funds. The proceeds from the sale of pink jerseys, socks, hats and other items go directly to the Georgia Alliance for Breast Cancer (formerly It’s The Journey) to help in their quest to improve access to quality breast care and improve outcomes for those affected.
