Coaches Win Annual Game!

June 2, 20250

For the third straight year, the 6-4-3 DP Baseball Coaches defeated the graduating seniors! Using match play once again and pivoting to Field 2 at Aviation Sports Complex due to weather, the coaches came out on top 5-1. While the coaches also won the fundraising competition, both teams earned fundraising advantages in the game using a runner on 2nd base for an inning and an extra fielder. The coaches also earned an extra run for raising more than $1000.

The game is one of the highlights of the spring and both teams came out ready to win. It’s a rare opportunity for the coaches to revisit their playing days and the seniors to play as teammates as their 6-4-3 careers wind down. Several notable moments kept fans engaged and players excited. Subbing in late in the game was Coach TJ Pagan who proved that he can not only pitch but also hit home runs! For the seniors, Marist grad and Princeton bound player Joe Montembeau proved his pitching and catching abilities by spending time at both positions.

Baseball wasn’t the only activity of the day! Coaches Zach Williams, Jake Pralgo and TJ Pagan were targets for the dunk tank while carnival games were part of the pre-game festivities. Each year, this event serves as the kickoff of The 6-4-3 Foundation’s pantry drive for the Marietta Student Life Center (see more below). We appreciate everyone who contributed items. As always, many thanks to everyone who supported the teams and to our sponsors Chick-fil-A Cobb Parkway at Roswell Road, Better Baseball, Publix and Costco.

Relive all of the fun with the official highlight reel! We’ll see you again next May for Coaches vs Class of 2026!
